MUJI was founded in Japan in 1980 to realise a vision – to offer products useful to the customer, while retaining balance between life and the objects that make it possible. The concept was born via the intersection of two distinct ideals: no brand (Mujirushi) and the value of good items (Ryohin). Our focus is to create simple, quality products by thoroughly reviewing manufacturing processes and everyday life. Today, across over 1,200 stores globally we offer more than 7,000 items including homewares, clothing, storage solutions, stationery, food, travel essentials and more.
 

The team have been working hard to finally open a MUJI location in Melbourne's western suburbs and we're proud to finally be part of the community after years of requests from MUJI fans in the area. We're excited to announce that our newest store is now open at Highpoint.

There will be a string of opening weekend activities and special offers to celebrate the new store, including an exclusive MUJI pop up exhibition in Highpoint Shopping Centre. See below for a list of all events happening as we welcome locals to our new store.

This exhibition is to introduce the most iconic MUJI staples that best represent our philosophy. We have become a part of everyday life for millions globally through these designs and our core principles are present in each item displayed.
