Honey Orange Sticky Glazed Ham

Looking to make the perfect glaze for your Christmas ham? This super sticky and delicious Honey Orange sauce is the ultimate crowd-pleaser. And the best part? You’ll have leftovers for days to come.
Serves 10-12
Ingredients:
- Woolworths Half Leg Ham (approx 4kg)
- 1 packet of whole cloves
- 1 cup of honey
- 1 tbsp orange rind
- Juice of one orange
- 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp mixed spices
- Thyme or rosemary for decoration (optional)
Method:
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius
- Cut through the rind on each side then down the handle, run your knife along the rim and peel back slowly on both sides.
- Use a small knife to score 2.5cm diamond shapes and place a clove in each to penetrate with flavour
- Wrap the rind handle in foil so it doesn’t burn
- Make the glaze with honey, orange rind, juice, grated ginger, cinnamon stick, mixed spices and brown sugar.
- Baste the ham with the glaze and bake for 20 minutes. Remove and repeat while basting 3 times.
- Let rest for 20 minutes before carving and enjoy!
