Leather & Faux Fur

One of the biggest AW trends to look out for this season is the rise in leather and faux fur.

Whether it’s real authentic leather or more of a leather-look finish that you are after, Highpoint has you

With the installation of our new VM mannequins having just taken place this week, I thought it would be a
great time to talk you through some store suggestions and styling tips for the season.

When shopping for leather highlight pieces, I always suggest starting with a neutral palette. There is an
abundance of A-line leather skirts on the market, and opting for a black, tan or beige colour will give you a
plethora of options when trying to outfit the skirt back with other new items or pieces already existing within
your closet. An A-line leather skirt is a great versatile piece as it effortlessly dresses up or down. Try styling it
with a basic t-shirt and some sneakers for a daytime approach, or swap the t-shirt for a crisp white shirt or
blouse and a heel and you will find it elevated enough for the evening. Visit Forever New, Country Road,

The leather trench coat is another standout item that is on the rise! It’s a bold statement piece that looks great
worn over blacks, whites and neutrals. Decjuba have a great leather-look option which is light weight and easy

If you are looking for something a little more adventurous, Aje have a beautiful leather dress and overshirt

When it comes to faux fur, there are several ways you can incorporate it into an outfit. If you want to start
small, try looking for pieces that have accent trims, such as a white cardigan from Dotti with a fur collar or the
