My favourite Father’s Day tradition with my kids is enjoying my favourite meal beef and rice – it is so simple, but I have loved it since I was young and love sharing that memory with my kids every year.

My perfect Father’s Day begins with a sleep in, I love a sleep in – Then a breakfast in bed with coffee and the newspaper.

Does he include any special ingredients to give his omelettes a personal twist?
To give my favourite breakfast omelette a personal twist - I love adding some Ajvar. It gives a simple omelette an extra punch of flavour and some added spice!
Archie’s favourite OMELETTE RECIPE
Ingredients
- 2 x eggs
- Splash of Cream/milk
- Salt + pepper
- Tomato
- Onion
- Capsicum
- Cheese
- Ajvar
Method
Step 1: Whisk eggs with cream or milk plus salt and pepper
Step 2: Melt butter over medium heat, add tomato, onion and capsicum, then add eggs
Step 3: Stir briefly, then lift up edges and tilt pan to let the egg run under
Step 4: Sprinkle with cheese, then once the top is set, fold and serve with Ajvar
Archie’s favourite big breakfast recipe
Ingredients
- 2 x sausages
- 2 x bacon rashers
- 2 x eggs
- Salt and pepper
- 2 x slices bread
- Butter
Method
Step 1: In a frying pan, spray some oil and place sausages. When the sausages are half cooked, add the bacon. (once cooked set to the side and keep warm).
Step 2: Add some butter to the pan and add two eggs
Step 3: Place hash browns under the grill
Step 4: Once cooked, serve sausages, eggs, bacon and hash browns all together

Ingredients
- Flour tortilla
- 2 x Bacon rashers
- 2 x Eggs
- Olive oil spray
- Salt and pepper
- Cheese
Method
Step 1: Cook the bacon and eggs (fried) or scrambled, with olive oil spray
Step 2: Heat the sandwich press, add the bacon, egg and cheese to tortilla, fold in half and heat gently in sandwich press until warm
