Project Overview

Highpoint sits within a catchment area of approximately 1.45 million people, with population growth since 2011 nearly double the national historic average. Set to benefit from continued growth through to 2051, GPT has lodged a development plan for the centre with Maribyrnong Council, that seeks approval for a mixture of residential and commercial uses, community facilities, green open spaces and future provision for retail experiences and spaces.

Overlooking the Maribyrnong River, this exciting re-development will introduce a compact, highly accessible and distinctive place that provides resident’s with high quality living, working and recreation opportunities around a prominent town centre. Every aspect of the precinct’s design has been focused in developing a culturally vibrant community that facilitates engagement with cultural diversity, identity and heritage with a “sense of place.”
